We may be small, but we are mighty! —2025 Review

As 2025 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a strong and rewarding year for Future Renewables and to thank all of our customers, partners, and our in-house teams and subcontractors who have been part of the journey.

Against a backdrop of rising energy costs and growing demand for reliable, sustainable solutions, this year has been about helping homes and businesses take greater control of their energy. From first conversations through to final commissioning, our focus has remained on delivering systems that perform, last, and genuinely add value.

This year, we delivered a wide range of renewable energy systems across domestic and commercial settings — from rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installations to battery storage solutions, retro-fit and new build heat pumps, biomass, wind and integrated systems designed to maximise performance and long-term reliability.

A year to be proud of
  • 6013 MW of clean energy generated this year
  • 6 million tonnes of estimated CO₂ emissions offset
  • Hundreds of projects delivered across Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland

These figures represent more than numbers — they reflect trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to cleaner, more resilient energy. For us, this is what our 16-year purpose truly looks like with every install.

Alongside the dozens of domestic installations this year, we’re especially proud of supporting local sectors with standout commercial systems — like these highlights:

  • 610 kWp for a food manufacturer
  • 643 kWp for an agri-food business
  • 126 kWp for a precision engineering company
  • Almost 500 kWp across projects for NI Water

All of this results in real outcomes for customers — reduced energy costs, improved predictability, and greater energy independence. And behind every system is a commitment to quality installation and aftercare: we always strive to do the job properly — not just installing equipment, but delivering solutions customers can rely on for years to come.

The People Behind the Power

Behind every project is a dedicated team working to the highest standards. From our on-site installation crews to the office team supporting projects from start to finish, people are at the heart of what we do.

We’re also grateful to our trusted suppliers and partners who share our commitment to quality, safety, and performance. Strong relationships — with customers, suppliers, partners, subcontractors and colleagues — continue to be a cornerstone of the Future Renewables business.

This year has also been one of continued development and improvement behind the scenes, strengthening technical capabilities, internal systems, training and safety standards. We continued to be recognised as approved installers for leading technology partners — including Victron Energy, Mitsubishi, MyEnergi, Solis, Hypontech, Duracell and SolarEdge — ensuring our customers benefit from proven, industry-leading technology, supported by expert installation.

We’ve also grown as a team in 2025 with additional customer support, technical, service and installation roles, helping us deliver even more to customers across the region. We remain proud of our long-standing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers who have supported us year after year. Plus we found time to move into new offices in our Ballinamallard home.

Our Community and Values

Coming from a rural and deeply connected community, giving back is important to us. In 2025, we were proud to sponsor the inaugural Fermanagh Camino and support Cancer Connect NI, whose community-led efforts provide comfort, connection and hope for families and neighbours alike.

The glorious sight of the Devenish Dragons on Lough Erne reminded us all of the power of community — and we’re honoured to continue as a significant sponsor for the next event in 2026.

And for 2026…?

The future for renewables is bright — demand continues to grow, and so does our commitment to meeting it the right way: delivering reliable, high-quality installations and supporting customers through every stage of their energy journey. We already have new major orders agreed for early 2026.

We’ve shared highlights here and on our social channels throughout the year — from project updates to practical energy advice — and we’ll continue to bring value to our community in 2026.

From everyone at Future Renewables, thank you to our customers, partners, suppliers and supporters for trusting us with your energy projects.

We wish you a peaceful end to the year and a successful, sustainable year ahead.
